uncontrollable marketing factors
need help anyone in marketing out there?

1.) A local university in a metropolitan area wishes to increase its range of evening school of business related courses such as marketing, accouonting, finance and administration. Who are the target market customers (Students) for these courses? what actions involving the four marketing mix elements can be used to reach the target market identified in the 1.)? what environmental factors (uncontrollable variables) that the university in part 1.) question? considered in the design of your marketing program?

Target market would be professionals who work during the day and take classes at night, but you should also consider the current students taking day classes. People who take night classes are more likely to work toward a master's but there are many people working in a bachlars. Also night classes usually taken by local moving. Im just guessing about demographics, but, Age: 25-35 Sex: male, income: $ 25K-$ 40K, location:, local race: white. Im assuming the four elements of marketing mix which means the four P's: price, product, place and promotion. Location: Metropolitan, for more probably means close to business professionals, convience should be noted. Product: product (service) is the college offers a better lifestyle, sense of satisfaction, more money, meeting new people etc, should be included in these lights and not in a utilitarian sense. Price: state universities are generally cheaper of great value for money should be emphasized. In addition, employers pay the bill for employers if their work toward a master's degree, which must be mentioned. Promotion: Television commercials are often too expensive for schools to ads in newspapers and on the Internet would make the most of your investment. Also contact with local companies on employee benefits with teachers could be an option. Billboards, bus ads and flyers in the city should be used. Also sponerships might work. Uncontrolled would be expected due to working people. The time people run out of energy and does not feel like taking classes at night. Competition can not control what they do.
