Today it seems that everyone and his brother says are a niche market and is so obvious to see that have no idea what they're talking about. Niche marketing is not marketing products popular for the general public. That's what big corporations do and if you're operating from a small office room in the corner of your house, guess Why? You're not a large company and I'll give you some reasons why you suck at niche marketing.
Reason # 1 – You do not even know what it means niche marketing. That's good because I'll tell you to finally know. Niche marketing is: find cost a small corner of a larger area of a market. So if you're selling golf products, you are not niche marketing, if you're selling golf clubs. You niche market, if you're selling golf gloves and not only themselves golf gloves, but some types of golf gloves people want to buy on a regular basis. It could be a golf glove certain color, could be a golf glove sized, or even could be true golf gloves brand that people want to buy on a regular basis.
Reason # 2 – You have no idea what questions are being asked instead. For some reason unknown do not read blogs that belong to its market and not participating in any forums or groups belonging to either market their line. In order to market effectively to their place, you have to go where they are and know what they are talking. This includes knowing what questions are asked and trying to offer them answers to their problems. I know, I know. Sounds too simple to be right, right?
Reason # 3 – You're all flash and no substance. What this basically means is that you are too obvious about making money you are offering to their market without real value. They can see you coming with your sales pitch a mile away and start running like crazy to get away from you and me I would also do. You'll find their niche marketing efforts to be a hundred times more effective in your market that offer valuable information and even directions solve their problems then just sales pitch after sales. To do anything else will just turn you away, leaving empty pockets.
I have no doubt in my mind that you can really feel something for a niche value, but if you are taking any of the things I mentioned earlier, any what we are doing is just hurting. Back to know what he wants his place, giving them solutions to their problems, and delivering quality content on your needs and you will begin to rise to the top of your market is very short time.
