Is there a digital camera on the market that accepts a USB flash drive as storage media?
I want a camera that multiple users can use without software or cables. We used to use a camera that is stored on the disk, but if a USB drive could be used, would simplify things. It is likely that someone will forget to come back or lose the cable … a flash drive would be easier to replace.
There is no camera I know of that uses a connector USB connectors for storage devices. That's because the storage is usually inside of the camera using a memory card, not through an external connector. The most simple: get a card reader external memory, which could only connect to a shared computer for everyone. People simply plug the memory card in it., There is no alternative SD memory with a built-in USB connector.
