Translation more fun?
What is the funniest translation I found in your travels? I was in a market in Mexico trying to find half and half, and behold all the labels were in Spanish and all the people in working in the store spoke only Spanish. With my best language signs and broken Spanish I explained to one of the employees what I wanted. He understood "coffee" and pointed to a carton of what appeared media type and as a means. The label says "crema para beat." Well, I took it home and was white things, but not too liquidy, so I searched word for word from a dictionary Spanish / English. This is translated literally as "cream intended to be severely beaten"! I just thought that was one of the things most fun I've heard. Do any of you ever had an experience like this before? (In case anyone thinks this is a silly question, I have to admit I'm very easily amused.)
I do not believe that no memory. I guess I'm too easily amused, and that is fun for me. Is it me or is Y! Answers mess up?
