reCareered: Who is fire? Layoffs week ended 10-16-09
Who's Cooking is a weekly survey of organizations announced (Or rumoring) redundancy. This is not only valuable to job seekers, but for business analysts, business strategists, traders, vendors, analysts investment, financial advisors, and others who are interested in companies that are contracting.
Inclusion in this list does not mean that the entire industry has been reduced, since many of the same sector appeared in the "Who's hiring" article published 10/12/2009. Interestingly, while recruitment Federal is increasing, a number of state and local governments are facing cuts continued. In addition, Verizon has led to higher recruitment lists, but also is announcing a series of layoffs. Boeing made the list of dismissals, while racing's major aerospace manufacturers Who's Hiring lists.
Job seekers: You may want to look at greener pastures in these companies.
