How to Sell / Market myself?
I have 15 years experience in Supply Chain and Quality Control of granite, marble and other natural stones. I am working for U.S. and European companies in India. I do not want to create a company and the market from my experience. Many trading firms are there not want to be one among the crowd. How do I market my car? We have a magazine Stoneworld (www.stoneworld.com), should I give notice that? How advertising should be similar, I went to the advertising agency of several, not answers. Need an A novel solution.
Selling yourself requires succsesfully 3 things: 1. You have something people want and are willing to pay for 2. You can reach the people 3. Prove to them why they should work with you and not someone else. 1. Most accurately define the problem that is helping people and businesses in their area of expertise to solve. This helps you focus on the need address, at least initially. 2. Find ways to make its services unique and better than the competition. Perhaps your experience is unique in some way that lets you perform better in certain aspects. Whatever it is, confirm that this is something of value-oriented customers. You are looking for your "Unique Selling Proposition." 3. Prepare a profile of your ideal clients / customers. Prepare a list of real people / companies that you know who fit this profile, if possible. Consider the best ways to reach these people – advertising, mail, etc. or combinations called to consider the effectiveness, budget and time constraints. If you've been in the industry for some time, consider any and all connections that could lead to new business. 4. Start development: emphasizing its advantages unique / strengths.
