How to get a job? What type of certification and training should I get?

So with the current job market horrible, I've been thinking about getting some kind of certification or a training class, however, very sure of what I choose. I am a recent graduate University and have been struggling to find a job. I graduated in Finance, but I had a great law, so finding a job has been even more difficult, but I have some years of work experience. I've been applying to jobs a lot, but no luck! To make myself more marketable in the tough economy, I'm thinking Certification either at an angle of six sigma, or a software tester, or any other type of equipment certification. Can you please help me decide what I do? Also, what are my chances of getting a job once they get certified? I do not want to waste my money if I have not secured a job. Thank you!

"What should I do?" difficult question to answer. It depends largely on their interests and talents, and what is willing and able to do. Even in the general area of information, that's a pretty big issue. Since you are more interested in being able to get a job, period, this is what I would suggest (and what I'm doing now). First – As websites job search to have a general idea of what available. http://www.careerbuilder.com http://www.monster.com and are great. Search all work and see what we are seeing more openings up on the site (S) is likely to be. (In my case, I was looking to enter the graphic design or web design, and found there is absolutely no opening for the design chart in my area, but there are several web design) Second – Find out what the requirements laid down in jobs usually have. Is there a certification that the majority of open job descriptions ask for? Although the specific job you are looking at is filled before you can be applicable to them, the changing needs of a particular type of work will not change too much. (For example, web design not to seek certification in general but basically all jobs are waiting a solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and probably) Third – Get the training needed to develop skills relevant to your work and get whatever certification (s) you need. A good source for training is http://www.nefuniversity.org that offers online courses in various technical fields. Their prices are also very low compared to other online course offerings, especially for some larger packages that allow access to a wide range of courses. As to the course catalog to see if they have something to suit your needs. In fact, finding a job can still be a little difficult with the economy as it is, but that should help put you in a better position for him.
