I did it with my girl, I just made sure that was good with my mother before me, in case you do not want to go back to the breast after a bottle. but I think it's a gr8 idea, if you want to give expectation night feeds so you can get some solid sleep to help address the next day with some kind of energy. also helps with the union too!
