Las Vegas questions Please help!?
I will move in sometime this year … not sure when yet.I as New Mexico and Austin, Texas, but have searched Craigslist Las Vegas and it seems that there are plenty of jobs and the rent does not look bad. I have a lot of experience as a licensed esthetician (Spa) and as assistant medical assistant plastic surgery and so how this labor market is there and if you live there do you like? Oh no Nevada have a state income tax (other than income tax)?
There is no state tax. And the average time to get a job in Las Vegas after more than an interview, background checks and that is about 3 months. I do not know why .. that's the way it is for most jobs. It seems that starting a interview quarter and bring you the next. Rent is not bad. In fact, as many places at this time. There is a lot of jobs in Las Vegas. Most places in the new City Center project will not open until August and December this year! Vegas is a cool place to retire. I lived there for some time. I like it. But I'm moving to Los Angeles. I'm more of an inhabitant of the city safely. If I had to choose right now I think I would have a better life in Austin in this time. You are in a good field .. there will always be a call for medical personnel. Good luck on your decision! I hope something I said will help.
