What is the point of having a quality diamond ring?

Apart from the idea of a diamond ring as a symbol of commitment and the representative the love that a man has for his wife, is there any practical reason? Especially for a band that has a quality diamond? The reason I ask is that my boyfriend I proposed with a beautiful diamond ring and I (and others who have seen it) have noted that there is a very slight yellow tint to the stone. However, my friends and colleagues work has been pointing out that there should be better throw me a diamond. We have not seen it yet, but both he and I did feel that more or less value a fair market wage for this diamond is not so perfect. Now my question is, other than for aesthetic reasons (and reasons to sign-off), what is the point to have a perfect or almost perfect diamond? Is it worth more in the long term? Is it stronger? Is it a blunder that not getting a ring with a flawless diamond?

I am by no means rich. Not at all. But I can say that when I ring my wife, wanted to make sure that symbolized my love for her and her friends who wanted to adopt as well. So I made sure I got it to clean a diamond eyes, ie a diamond is clean to the naked eye, but if you were to see it with a 30x loupe, you would see the flaws. Believe me when I tell you, none of her friends have ever asked, "I can see your diamond with my magnifying glass? "Why would I want my wife a diamond that does not clean the eyes? On the one hand, her friends say," Oh, it's beautiful, "but on the other hand talk behind his back, "I can not believe he gave her a diamond very bad." A diamond does not have to be flawless, just be clean eyes. * * *
