Financial Market Advisor Requiring more experience in the market. So Ps146 Rg146 rating enough?
It appears that financial planning advertisements employment are being placed with a higher requirement of experience. Retaining only the PS146 qualification for RG146 itself can not be enough to secure a position in the financial markets industry as a financial planner planning, and perhaps a junior role fit as a starting point in the financial industry. This is independent of the location of jobs.
For example, if you're trying to get a job paraplanner as one of the smaller towns such as Ballarat, good luck with it. The demand is just not there. However, Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane and recently seems like a good place to start.
However, the market has begun to require candidates to have other specialized skillsets, such as expertise securities or derivatives etc give the candidate an advantage over the competition.
Although it is widely published, as a financial planner at the end required to have good social skills and, therefore, English language skills of candidates should be better than normal. Unfortunately, many of the graduates who do not speak English find they have problems when going to an interview.
There are fewer positions to paraplanning and learning. These seem to be outsourced instead.
Recently, there was a paragraph planning conference where there was a lot of paraplanners. From the heights of the young. Being in this industry for quite some time, I thought that planning was only a paragraph ranked junior position, but after talking with supervisors, we find that there is a way direct growth to be a para planner.
However, the first step is to obtain a diploma of financial planning.
