Best way to get a software engineering degree with interest in business?

I have a degree in software engineering, non-interest in the recording software. I come from a background with a family business (back home) and very interested in working on the business side of technology. I want to live here, and probably get an MBA later in my career. I am currently working as a marketing analyst, does not pay very well, but at least I'm not writing software. The problem is that I'm tired of marketing analysis and purchase of keywords and campaigns generation. I think that this is not the best field for me. With experience 6 months in my hand, I would go ahead in managing projects and / or business analysis. My question is what should be the best way? Should I increase my level knowledge of the fields or should point to an entry level position? I want a job where I am contributing to the mainstream business and not be an analyst of a company whose core competency is marketing, and perhaps never will be marketing. Thanks
