Ideas marketing tools and statistics?
Hi I need new ideas to promote my business (floral design) and reach more customers. I have to be careful to invest my money that I would ask: – What type of promotion that you believe is more efficient? – What are exchange rates postcard campaigns? Any other tactics would better (for multiple emails, etc)? I mean guerrilla marketing but do you think advertising in a newspaper for a month would work? – Cold calls? Would you use it? Really appreciate your help! Thanks
Here are some thoughts (not in any particular order). Whatever marketing material you choose, and you will http://www.vistaprint.com/specialfree can get free (25-250 small amounts depending on product) magnet calendars, postcards, flyers, brochures, business cards, etc. Thus you can try it and see if you like them once you receive. They have a lot of templates for floral designers and search v. professional. I am a writer and marketing communications and have used VistaPrint for more than five years. Simply I can not say enough nice things about them. Give something away for free is always better than a draw a discount rate. Maybe buy a deal and get the vase for free – you get the idea. Postal mailings may get you a 1-2% response therefore have to send a batch to make it worthwhile. Postcards to hand might work better than doing a big mailing. So many explosions using email not really know how efficient they are. And since you're a new business can only go directly to the SPAM folder. I think the best thing to do would be to talk to people whose customers would be buying flowers. Wedding planners, event organizers, hotels, card / Hallmark stores, photographers – you name it. If you advertise, announce in a publication where people are likely to buy flowers – like a bride's guide for your area. Go to one of the only trade show for brides and rent a table / stand (or share a booth with someone.) Maybe make an announcement in your local Entertainment Book – I think the ad is no cost to you. Hope this helps and good luck!
