Marketing ideas that work!

Now there is a disclaimer that goes with a title like the one above. It's something along the lines of, "Title =" marketing ideas "> Marketing Ideas work if they meet certain criteria. These criteria are:

  1. Must have vision. Campaigns do not see beyond his nose just does not go that far. Look ahead and have a great plan of what you want, if all goes according to plan.
  2. Must be patient. These things take time to develop, time to plan and run time. Then you have time to wait to measure results. Most see campaigns fail because they run out of patience.
  3. You must have reasonable expectations of what you put in. Most times if not spending money on a campaign do not expect to strike it rich. You must temper your expectations, or reward, with the amount of risk you are willing to put in.

So you has a short list of qualifying before reaching the meat of this post.

I also preface that if you are not the creator of the box out as necessary thinker campaigns to reach to really get the attention of the audience then find one (and not cheap, but solutions will not would have thought) as well, me "graphic designer orange county designer> for example, but also about Google to go ahead and excavation.

Now, the real meat and most of this has been said before in some form or another, but here will be my take.

  1. A campaign proper SEO. Get keywords important to you to generate traffic for you. Use the strategies of PPC as well (and there are multiple strategies they have different desired outcomes and ways to approach them so you do not just do PPC to do so). And be aggressive to attack the keywords that are critical to your business.
  2. Social Media. Why in all caps? For yet most people simply do not understand or do not want. Times change, technology changes, climate change, everything changes very much, except how some people want to do business. If GMC's ruling did not strike a chord with what then will. In addition to several key issues such as how a company that was run did not see the writing on the wall and could not compete with imports. Adapting to incorporate new technology in their marketing is not only evolution and intelligent within the standard time.
  3. Video. If you offer a service or a product that allows some videos and get out there showing what is what you have. Websites that offer real products or demonstrations of service at least twice as likely to convert as those that do not. People love video, but do not want to use it for themselves. How many times have you seen a video and thought, "Man that was amazing? I'm gonna get me one of those. "I know I have on several occasions.
  4. Direct mail. He is not dead, if not you do not always done. 3D Go, be original, shocking, to be the opening and not discarded.
  5. Use of local television advertising where appropriate. The rates are great and really you can target your demographic and get a lot of views.
  6. Articles / blogs. I put together because they kind of go together for me. Write articles and blogs about what's new and what's happening with your product / service. Think of it as PR. The whole while enhancing your keywords and your website.
  7. If possible, involve their customers. Make your website an application of 2.0 where the user has an entry on the content rather than force-feeding to all you considers important.
  8. Create a concise, tight but not completely out of the box that will be memorable campaign. I always prefer not to be polarizing. Either so that people remember, that A) not as you or B) you loved. Being in the middle will ensure one thing you forget.
  9. Providing customer service. I know this is not really a marketing idea, but I can say that there are great companies out there that these processes are blind do one thing, piss out of me and alienate me as a customer to the point that I never use, there is always an alternative (and do not mind the price difference). Companies like Yahoo Finance, AT & T, Times Warner Cable, Quizno, and many more have ensured that will never use your service and I tell everyone I do not know as well. Poor customer service MARKETING = BAD.
  10. Throw parties and events around your product or service. People will show up and you get 1 on 1 marketing and comments and see you customer reaction and feedback. Also, if you make a grand statement will not only be guaranteed that people talk about it, but it will be a Blog about it and write about it and put up pictures and video, and invite friends to join the group calm in their social networks and then you can offer more than advertising (almost 0 cost). Wow, no way. But that requires vision and some guts to do it.

At the end, every company wants to be the boy cool in the majority bloc. Fail. Sometimes, it just did not try, and sometimes, because what they tried did not work. Now more than ever with the amount of information that bombard us with is not important to highlight? I know I try, and I'm just one person. It all comes down to your title = "marketing and advertising consultant"> marketing and advertising consultant and how much that person can push the envelope.
